:: the journey back to childlike faith after "real life" hits hard ::

i grew up in church, over time forming a deep sense of God's provision, goodness, and favor in my life. i never worried about a thing, believed without a doubt and with abandon, trusted. after college, you could say real like smacked me hard. confusion set in. bad things happened. i questioned. but somewhere deep inside me, these words have always been whispering. deep inside of me, they still speak:

:: my heart says of you, "seek HIS face!"

your face, Lord, i will seek ::

this is the photo journey back through the very Bible i read, the Bible of my roots, through my formation of rooted faith in Christ, where verses came alive and were underlined. where words were written, and my trust was formed.
